Use formatting:

@Mentions and Notifications
Mentioning Team Members
Type @ followed by name to mention someone:
@sarahnotifies Sarah@hiring-teamnotifies entire team (if group exists)@everyonenotifies all with campaign access
Mentioned person receives notification.
Notification Settings
Control when you're notified:
User settings → Notifications:
- ✅ When mentioned in comment
- ✅ When someone comments on candidate you're following
- ⬜ All comments on campaign (can be high volume)
- ✅ Status changes on candidates you're assigned
Find balance between staying informed and avoiding noise.
Muting Candidates
Stop notifications for specific candidate:
- Open candidate profile
- Click "..." menu
- Select "Mute Notifications"
You can still view and comment; just won't get automatic notifications.
Internal Notes vs. Comments
Comments (Default)
Visibility: All team members with campaign access
Use for:
- Team discussions
- Shared feedback
- Collaborative decision-making
- Interview notes to share
Internal Notes (Private)
Visibility: Only you (and admins)
Use for:
- Personal thoughts
- Sensitive concerns
- Reminders to yourself
- Draft feedback before sharing
To add internal note:
- Click "Add Note" (separate from comments section)
- Type note
- Save
Notes appear only to you, marked with "Private" badge.
Structured Feedback
Interview Feedback Forms
Record structured interview feedback:
- Click "Add Interview Feedback" on candidate
- Fill form:
- Interview type (phone screen, technical, behavioral)
- Interviewer name
- Date
- Rating (1-5 scale)
- Strengths observed
- Concerns identified
- Recommendation (hire, maybe, pass)
- Detailed notes
- Submit
Structured feedback is easier to compare across interviewers.

System aggregates all interview feedback:
- Average rating
- Consensus areas (what all interviewers agreed on)
- Divergent opinions (where interviewers disagreed)
- Overall recommendation

Comment promptly: Add feedback within 24 hours of interviews while fresh.
@mention sparingly: Only mention when you need specific person's attention.
Use structured feedback: Interviews deserve structured forms, not just free-form comments.
Summarize decisions: When decision is made, post summary comment for clarity.
Clean up: Archive candidates and close loops so discussions don't linger.
