Collaborate on hiring decisions by inviting teammates to your Candidate Audit organization.
Why Add Team Members?
Team collaboration improves hiring through:
- Multiple perspectives: Different team members evaluate different aspects
- Distributed workload: Share candidate screening responsibilities
- Better decisions: Collective wisdom reduces individual bias
- Faster process: Parallel evaluation speeds up hiring
Inviting Team Members
Quick Invite
- Click your organization name in top navigation
- Select "Team Members"
- Click "Invite Member"
- Enter email address
- Choose role (see Roles & Permissions)
- Send invitation
Invitee receives email with signup link.
Bulk Invite
Invite multiple members simultaneously:
- Go to Team Members page
- Click "Bulk Invite"
- Enter email addresses (one per line or comma-separated)
- Assign role (applies to all in this batch)
- Send invitations
Useful when onboarding entire hiring team.
Invitation Process
What Invitees Receive
Email contains:
- Invitation to join your organization
- Your organization name
- Role they're being assigned
- Link to accept invitation
- Invitation expires in 7 days
What Happens After Acceptance
- Invitee clicks link
- Signs up or logs in to Candidate Audit
- Automatically added to your organization
- Gains access based on assigned role
- You receive notification of acceptance
Managing Invitations
Pending Invitations
View all sent invitations:
- Team page → "Pending Invitations" tab
- See who hasn't accepted yet
- When invitation was sent
- When it expires
Resend Invitation
If team member didn't receive email:
- Find invitation in "Pending" list
- Click "Resend"
- New email sent with extended expiration
Cancel Invitation
Changed your mind before acceptance?
- Find invitation in "Pending" list
- Click "Cancel"
- Link becomes invalid
Team Member Limits
Free plan: Up to 3 team members
Starter plan: Up to 10 team members
Professional plan: Up to 50 team members
Enterprise plan: Unlimited team members
Upgrade plan to invite more members.
Setting Initial Access
During Invitation
Choose what new member can access:
- All campaigns: Full visibility to organization campaigns
- Specific campaigns: Only campaigns you select
- No campaigns initially: Admin assigns access after acceptance
Adjust this anytime after member joins.
Onboarding New Members
After Team Member Accepts
- Assign to campaigns - Give access to relevant hiring campaigns
- Set permissions - Adjust role if needed
- Share guidelines - Point to your hiring process docs
- Initial training - Show how to use assessments and comparisons
Welcome Message
Include in invitation or send separately:
- How your organization uses Candidate Audit
- Expectations for candidate evaluation
- Your hiring standards and criteria
- Who to contact with questions
Removing Team Members
Offboarding Process
When team member leaves organization:
- Go to Team Members page
- Find the member
- Click menu (•••) → "Remove"
- Confirm removal
What happens:
- Member loses access immediately
- Their historical activity remains (audit trail)
- Comments and assessments they created stay attributed to them
- Can no longer log in to your organization
Transferring Ownership
If removing a campaign owner:
- Reassign campaign ownership first
- Then remove team member
- Prevents orphaned campaigns
Team Member Roles
During invitation, assign one of these roles:
Admin
- Full organizational access
- Can invite/remove members
- Manage billing and settings
- All campaign access
Hiring Manager
- Create and manage campaigns
- Assess candidates
- Invite team to specific campaigns
- Limited org-wide settings access
Recruiter
- Add candidates to campaigns
- Request assessments
- View results
- Cannot modify campaign settings
Reviewer
- View candidates and assessments
- Add comments
- Cannot add candidates or modify data
- Read-only access

Multi-Organization Members
Team members can belong to multiple organizations (e.g., consultants, contractors).
Switching Organizations
Members switch between orgs:
- Click organization dropdown
- Select different organization
- Context switches entirely
Data is completely isolated between organizations.
Security Best Practices
Email verification: Only invite work email addresses you recognize.
Least privilege: Assign minimum necessary role; upgrade if needed later.
Regular audits: Quarterly review of who has access and why.
Offboard promptly: Remove access same day when team members leave.
Notification Settings
Control invitation notifications:
- Organization settings → "Notifications"
- Choose who gets notified when:
- New member invited
- Member accepts invitation
- Member removed
Common Scenarios
Adding Interview Panel
For specific role interview panel:
- Invite each panelist
- Assign "Reviewer" role initially
- Grant access to specific campaign
- They can view and comment on candidates
Adding HR/Recruiting Team
For recruiting coordinators:
- Invite with "Recruiter" role
- Give access to all campaigns
- They can add candidates and request assessments
- Cannot modify campaign settings (prevents conflicts)
Adding Executive Stakeholders
For decision-makers who want visibility:
- Invite with "Reviewer" role
- Grant access to specific high-priority campaigns
- They can view and comment
- Won't accidentally modify data
