Adding Candidates
Add candidates one at a time to your campaigns for AI-powered evaluation.
Quick Add Process
- Open your campaign - Navigate to the campaign where you want to add a candidate
- Click "Add Candidate" - Find the button in the top right or center of the page
- Choose upload method:
- Upload resume file
- Paste resume text
- Enter details manually
- Fill required fields - Name and email are typically required
- Submit - Candidate is added and ready for assessment
Upload Methods
Resume File Upload
Supported formats:
- PDF (.pdf)
- Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx)
- Plain text (.txt)
Best practices:
- Use clearly formatted resumes
- Ensure text is selectable (not scanned images)
- Keep file size under 10MB
Paste Resume Text
Perfect when you have resume text from:
- Email applications
- Job board profiles
- LinkedIn profiles copied to clipboard
Simply paste the text and our system extracts relevant information.
Manual Entry
Enter candidate information directly:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Current company and role
- LinkedIn profile URL
- Key skills and experience
Use this method when you don't have a formal resume yet.
Required vs Optional Fields
Required
- Candidate name
- Email address (for record keeping and potential communication)
Recommended
- Resume or experience details
- Current position
- LinkedIn profile
Optional
- Phone number
- Portfolio or website
- Social media profiles
- Custom notes
Why it matters: More information enables more accurate AI evaluation.
What Happens After Adding
- Candidate appears in your campaign - Visible in the candidate list immediately
- Auto-assessment triggers - If enabled in campaign settings, AI agents start evaluating
- Team notification - Team members receive notification (if configured)
- Status updates - Watch the status change from "Added" to "Assessing" to "Completed"
Adding Multiple Candidates
For more than 2-3 candidates at once, consider:
- Bulk upload for CSV/Excel imports
- Google Drive integration for automated resume collection
Editing After Adding
Made a mistake? You can edit candidate information anytime:
- Click the candidate name
- Click "Edit" in the top right
- Update any field
- Save changes
Note: Significant changes may trigger a new assessment.

Tips
