Editing Candidate Information
Keep candidate profiles accurate and up-to-date with easy editing capabilities.
When to Edit Candidates
Common scenarios:
- Correcting typos: Fix name or email mistakes
- Adding information: Include phone number or LinkedIn URL
- Updating status: Reflect latest interview stage
- Adding notes: Document conversations or insights
- Uploading better resume: Replace with more recent version
How to Edit a Candidate
- Find the candidate - Navigate to your campaign and locate the candidate
- Open profile - Click the candidate's name
- Click "Edit" - Button appears in top right of profile
- Modify fields - Update any information
- Save changes - Click "Save" when done

- Upload new resume

Impact on Assessments
Minor Edits (Contact Info)
Changing email, phone, or LinkedIn URL does not trigger re-assessment.
Major Edits (Resume, Skills)
Updating resume, skills, or experience may trigger re-assessment if auto-assessment is enabled.
Manual control: Disable auto-assessment in campaign settings to control when re-evaluation happens.
Bulk Editing
Edit multiple candidates simultaneously:
- Select candidates - Use checkboxes on candidate list
- Click "Bulk Actions"
- Choose "Edit Selected"
- Update common fields:
- Status/stage
- Tags
- Notes
- Assignment to team member
- Apply changes
Use case: Moving several candidates to "Interview Stage" at once.
Resume Management
Replacing a Resume
- Open candidate profile
- Click "Edit"
- Scroll to "Resume" section
- Click "Replace Resume"
- Upload new file
- Save
Old resume is archived, not deleted (accessible in version history).
Resume Versions
View all resume versions uploaded for a candidate:
- Open candidate profile
- Click "Resume History"
- See list of all versions with upload dates
- Click any version to view
- Click "Restore" to make an old version current
Useful when candidate sends updated resume.
Candidate Status Tracking
Track where candidates are in your pipeline:
Available statuses:
- New
- Reviewed
- Phone Screen Scheduled
- Interviewed
- Under Consideration
- Offer Extended
- Hired
- Rejected
- Withdrawn
Custom statuses: Add your own in campaign settings.
Changing Status
- Open candidate profile
- Click current status dropdown
- Select new status
- Optionally add note explaining change
- Save
Status changes appear in candidate activity timeline.
Undo Changes
Made a mistake?
- Immediately after saving: Click "Undo" notification
- Later: View edit history and revert specific changes
Viewing Edit History
- Open candidate profile
- Click "History" tab
- See all edits with:
- What changed
- Who made the change
- When it happened
- Click "Restore" on any historical version
Deleting Candidates
Remove candidates from campaign:
- Open candidate profile
- Click three-dot menu (•••)
- Select "Delete Candidate"
- Confirm deletion
Warning: Deletion removes:
- Candidate profile
- All assessments
- Team comments and notes
- Assessment history
Alternative: Change status to "Rejected" or "Withdrawn" instead of deleting to preserve data.
Best Practices
Verify before assessing: Double-check candidate information accuracy before requesting AI assessment.
Document changes: When making significant edits, add a note explaining why (helpful for team context).
Preserve history: Use status changes instead of deletion to maintain historical data for future reference.
